Northern Light Technologies (NLT) has announced that its Pleats Plus® N95 Respirator has received approval from the US National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), confirming that it meets strict performance standards for workplace respiratory protection.
NLT’s Pleats Plus respirator was approved under NIOSH Title 42, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 84 (42 CFR84). To receive NIOSH approval, respirators must pass tests for filtration efficiency, breathing resistance, fit and leakage performance and manufacturing quality control.
The Pleats Plus is also certified to CSA Z94.4.1:21 Class CA-N95F-100Pa (Certificate No. 80117243) and can be incorporated into respiratory protection programs developed in accordance with the Canadian standard for the selection, use and care of respirators used in occupational settings.
These Canadian-made masks are available through NLT and authorized distributors across Canada.
